Arnold Foundation Entry

Under the umbrella of The Arnold Foundation for Rugby School, which is fully funded through donations and gifts, we are able to offer funded places to pupils who have a need for a boarding education, but whose parents are unable to afford the fees.

FOR ENTRY TO YEAR 9 IN 2017
We encourage partner organisations to identify potential candidates by Friday 27 May 2016. They should aim for potential candidates to complete our Preliminary Information form and a Registration Form by Friday 1 July 2016. Potential candidates should arrange to visit Rugby School as soon as possible during the summer or autumn term and certainly before Friday 14 October 2016.

Candidates whose applications are being taken forward will be invited to return to Rugby School to sit our Entrance tests in English and Mathematics and to meet for an informal chat with a member of the Arnold Foundation interview panel.  The entrance tests should be taken by Saturday 12 November 2016 at the latest.

Parents of short-listed candidates will need to complete a Confidential Statement of Financial circumstances form and return it to the Bursary before the final interviews take place.

A final, formal interview with the Deputy Head, Pastoral, the Assistant Head, Middle School and the Chairman of the Arnold Foundation Board will be on Saturday 3 December 2016.
