2014 Arnold Foundation Lecture
On Thursday, 16 January 2014, Anthony Horowitz (SF 68-73) gave the eleventh Arnold Foundation Lecture “Ten Million Words: A Life in Books, TV and Film”, a fascinating talk about his prolific writing career. The TSR was filled to capacity with Rugby School pupils, Rugbeians, staff and parents. Particularly poignant was the gratitude he expressed to three former tutors at the School who taught him English, the late Nigel J. Brown (70-80), Geoffrey Helliwell (58-88) and Robin Alden Housemaster in Town House (83-94), and whom he acknowledged were the inspiration behind his success.
