Leaving a gift in your will
If you will, they Can
In 1567 Lawrence Sheriff took the first steps towards creating history. He left a bequest in his Will to found a school to educate the boys of Rugby and Brownsover.
That is how Rugby School began, with a gift of £50 and an orchard in Bloomsbury.
Our aim is to reach 450 legacy pledges for the Arnold Foundation. We currently have 320, will you be one of our 450?
Please join your fellow Rugbeians with your name on the Close and pledge to leave a legacy today.
All legacy gifts, unless otherwise specified, are invested in the expendable endowment of the Arnold Foundation for Rugby School. This will ensure we can offer boarding bursaries to young people where talent is there but the means are not, for generations to come. If you wish to make a specific bequest, we would be more than happy to discuss your plans with us.
Including the Arnold Foundation for Rugby School in your Will
Making a legacy pledge is easy to do. Simply contact the Development Team at the School and let us know you intend to remember the Arnold Foundation or Rugby School in your Will.
In order to set up your legacy and include the Arnold Foundation for Rugby School registered charity number 1095856 in your Will, please contact your solicitor.
A plaque on the Close with the names of all future legacy donors will be commissioned as soon as we have our 450 pledges.
