The sole purpose of the Arnold Foundation, which is funded entirely from voluntary donations, is to provide bursaries, subject to means testing, for students in boarding places at Rugby School.
The Foundation does not seek gifts for capital projects.
In 2018 we celebrated our fifteenth anniversary. Working in partnership with educational charities we aim to reach out to boys and girls from some of the country's most disadvantaged communities, where under-achievement is prevalent.
Amongst the 129 Arnold Foundation students who have benefited to date, there are now accountants, a doctor, a vet, a journalist, actors and artists. Others are studying at or have graduated from Russell Group universities including Oxford and Cambridge. This year there are 32 Arnold Foundation students at Rugby who are working hard, preparing for public exams and participating fully in the life Rugby School has to offer. All have emerged as confident and ambitious young people.
