Supporting Scholars from Hong Kong and China

Seven pupils from Hong Kong currently hold Arnold Foundation places at Rugby School and they are thriving. We are looking to Rugbeians, parents and friends of the School in Hong Kong to support further pupils, living in Hong Kong or China.

How this works

The Hong Kong Friends of Rugby School support suitable candidates who are talented pupils who would benefit from a boarding education at Rugby.

It is expected that pupils will join the F Block at 13 years.

The Hong Kong Friends of Rugby School attracts applications through contact with partner schools in Hong Kong.

What is needed

All contributions are held in a fund to support Arnold Foundation pupils from Hong Kong or China; grants are then made to the Arnold Foundation for Rugby School to support pupils as required.

HKD500,000 is needed annually for each pupil to cover fees, essential extras and air fares.

All awards are means-tested to ensure that funds go only where they are needed. Assistance is available for 100% of School fees and essential extras, including travel and uniform costs.
