The Financial division at MHP is looking for a paid Intern to join our award winning financial services and capital markets teams, to work on an exciting portfolio of financial services clients as well as publicly listed companies. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and to gain a deeper understanding of what a financial PR role entails.

This role would be an integral part of supporting client programmes on a day-to-day basis. We welcome creative ideas and input, as well as a proactive attitude which we foster amongst all team members. Attention to detail is essential in the role, as well as an open-minded perspective.

Through this role you will gain experience of selling ideas into the media, learn about the financial industry and public relations and understand how each area of PR activity works on a strategic level. We are looking for a candidate with excellent writing skills who is highly organised, time efficient and confident assisting with the delivering of client programmes / actions.

MHP has increased its internship salary in line with the National Minimum Wage increase taking place in April. As a result, all interns will be paid the equivalent of £17,581.20 per annum.  In addition, instead of accruing 4 days holiday each 8 week period which is usually not taken and then paid at the end of their Internship, interns will instead receive additional pay in their salary to compensate for holiday accrued. Therefore, any holiday taking during that period would be unpaid.

15 October to 7 December (with option to extend to 9 weeks finishing 14 December)
