Rugby v Marlborough Cricket Match 12 August 2017

First played in 1855, but not since 1972 has this historic match between Rugby and Marlborough been played at Lord’s. Now, after 45 years, and as part of our 450th celebrations, we have been given this wonderful opportunity to recreate history. It is open to everyone, so come and join us!

Gates will open at 10.00am.

Play starts at 11.00am and continues to 6.30pm with lunch from 1.00pm to 1.40pm.

50 overs per innings.

There are two ways in which you can come and enjoy the day

By taking a Private Box in the Tavern Stand
You have an exceptional view of play from your balcony seating area, located directly outside your Private Box.  Contact James Glover on or 0207 616 8756 to place a booking, advising number of guests – min 6 max 18. You will then be sent an application form. On receipt of your application, you will be sent an invoice for payment.

Cost : £450 + VAT or £300 + VAT if booked  through an MCC member.

Ground admission which also gives access to your box is £12 per person, inclusive of VAT.

A deposit of £70 + VAT will be taken per guest for catering at the time of booking.

Once payment is received, you will then be sent an online portal through which to arrange your catering.  There are buffet menu choices of £33.50 or £42, afternoon tea is £22, and wine from £22 to £60, all + VAT. A refund will be given post-match for any underspend.

Ground admission only
Ground admission tickets @ £12 (£6 for over-65's and £5 for under-16's) can be purchased on the day at the Grace and North Gates, for seating in the Warner, Allen, Tavern , Mound or Edrich Stands. These cannot be pre-booked, but it would helpful if you would let Tracey Ahmet know if you plan to attend in this way.
