Welcome from the President

Being asked to take on the role of President of the Society by Simon Penniston (C 65-70) was a huge honour.  My plan is to continue finding ways to bring Rugbeians together and involve younger Rugbeians in the Society.  I will therefore be focusing on how we achieve this during my time as President, in particularly I am looking to offer more affordable events for the younger Rugbeian community.  I will also continue to support the OR sporting Societies who are thriving and look to grow our highly successful internship scheme that so many younger Rugbeians have already benefited from.

As the Rugbeian Society is seen as one of leading Alumni United Kingdom's leading alumnae associations we must ensure that we continue to work closely with the Development Office and the School as their support is essential to the Society.

You can find out more about the Society and its wide range of social events, sports societies and business networking opportunities on this website.

Our publications – the e-bulletin and Floreat enable us to share Rugbeian and School news and achievements and keep engaged with those living overseas.

As the Society continues to grow, I very much look forward to meeting you during the coming years and please do contact us with any ideas or suggestions you may have about the Society and our activities.
