A little bit of Kilbracken magic brought the sun out on Saturday 13 October for their Reunion at Rugby. Guests were invited for tours of the School and House in the morning ahead of lunch, with current Kilbracken boys providing excellent guides. Lunch was held in the Collingwood Centre and with plenty of time for drinks beforehand, there was a good opportunity to swap stories and reminiscences.
The Kilbracken Reunion was made extra special by the presentation of the Godley Gifts before lunch. This set of exquisite books was produced in New Zealand from a manuscript originally given to John Arthur Godley, first Baron Kilbracken, and is hand signed by former NZ Prime Minister the Hon. Helen Clark. More information can be found here.
After lunch many guests moved to the Close to cheer on the XV as they made their way to a 20 - 12 win against Bromsgrove, continuing their, as yet, undefeated season.
