Arnold Foundation Lecture and Lunch - 18 January 2020

On Saturday 18 January 2020 Rugby School hosted its 15th Arnold Foundation Lecture given by Claire Wills, Managing Partner, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP.

‘Does difference make all the difference?’

The Temple Speech Room was packed with students, parents, Arnold Foundation donors and guests.

Claire's speech was an inspiring one, filled with anecdotes from days in her beloved Liverpool and powerful words encouraging us to embrace our differences and use our uniqueness to drive us towards our goals.

After the lecture, Arnold Foundation donors were invited to Lunch in the Collingwood Centre Hall. Aside from the delicious food, the Head Master Peter Green shared an update from the School and two current Arnold Foundation students spoke about their experience of life at Rugby. We are enormously grateful for the support of our donors, without whom the 136 Arnold Foundation students who have passed through the School would have been unable to embrace their differences and strive towards greatness.

Where you come from is not the point, where you are going is...
