Scholarships

Rugby School offers a range of Scholarship Awards which allow awardees to access extraordinary opportunities, enrichment and support through Scholars’ Programmes, and their parents to receive a fee discount

Academic Scholarships are offered at 13+ (there are separate assessments for those studying the ISEB and National Curriculum) during the Lent term and at 16+ during the Advent term

Art Scholarships are offered at 13+ during the Lent term and at 16+ during the Advent term

Computer Science Scholarships are offered at 13+ during the Trinity term and at 16+ during the Advent term

Design & Technology Scholarships are offered at 13+ during the Lent term and at 16+ during the Advent term

Music Scholarships are offered at 13+ during the Lent term and at 16+ during the Advent term

Performing Arts Scholarships are offered at 13+ and at 16+ during the Advent term

Sports Scholarships are offered at 13+ and 16+ during the Advent term

The value of a Scholarship is a fee concession of 5% which the parents or legal guardians may elect to accept. More than one Scholarship can be awarded to a candidate although the total fee reduction available is limited to 5%

The level of fee concession can be augmented by bursary support up to 100% of fees subject to means assessment

Additionally, at the Head Master’s discretion, exceptional awards with a fee concession which may be greater than 5% can be made where, during the assessment process, we identify exceptional potential.
