Polly Stenham (St 02-04)

Rugbeian Polly Stenham is one of Britain's most distinguished contemporary playwrights. After attending Rugby School, she rose to prominence when her debut play That Face, written at the age of 19, became a critical and commercial success in London's West End. Her work is known for its sharp exploration of family relationships and contemporary society, earning her numerous awards and, in 2020, an MBE for services to theatre and literature.
