A Boarding Pathway from our Prep Schools to Rugby School
Choosing the right educational journey for your child is one of the most important decisions you'll make. That's why we've created a Boarding Pathway that offers a smooth, secure transition from our Prep Schools to Rugby School.
With this pathway, families benefit from a bespoke financial package, including a 10% remission on Rugby School boarding fees for pupils who have made a significant commitment to boarding at one of our participating prep schools, as well as a seamless experience that provides continuity and supports long-term planning.
Importantly, children also gain valuable experience of boarding during their time at one of our prep schools:

To embark on your Boarding Pathway, you will in the first instance have to apply to one of our prep schools if you are not already enrolled.

Transport Services
A bus service will operate between Rugby School and a convenient location for our Prep School families in the UK.
Eligibility and benefits
Families quallify if their child is either:
- A current pupil boarding at Aysgarth School, Bilton Grange Preparatory School, Beaudesert Park School or Old Buckenham Hall School.
- A new pupil applying for a single assessment/entry point at Aysgarth, Bilton Grange, Beaudesert Park or Old Buckenham Hall and a Year 9 boarding place at Rugby School.
In addition to the above, successful candidates also need to fulfil the usual Rugby School admissions criteria.
- Rugby School registration fee waived (Saving £250 + VAT)
- Single entrance fee to cover both schools
- Boarding fee remission. 10% discount for pupils who have made a significant commitment to boarding at Aysgarth, Bilton Grange, Beaudesert Park School or Old Buckenham Hall.
