A focus on the future
Through philanthropy, volunteering and shared expertise, our community contributes to the long‑term development of our buildings, facilities and educational environment, ensuring students continue to benefit from a balanced and purposeful education.
Supporting Rugby School helps to sustain and strengthen the our reach for generations to come.
The generosity of our parents, alumni and friends lies at the heart of what makes Rugby School special and enables us to realise ambitious plans for the years ahead.
We are grateful to all those who give their time, expertise and philanthropic support to fund key projects and initiatives across the School.
1567 Society
Many members of the Rugby School community ask how they can get involved in reaching our vision of having 40 Arnold Foundation students on the School roll in perpetuity. This has led to our creation of the 1567 Society, named after the year of the School’s founding by Lawrence Sheriff, grocer to Elizabeth 1, whose legacy was intended “to serve chiefly for the children of Rugby and Brownsover... and next for such as be of other places hereunto adjoyneing (sic).”
When you join the 1567 Society you may opt to donate, on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, £15.67, or £156.70, or £1567, or as much as you wish. You do not have to be a big donor to make a big difference.
A £15.67 monthly donation would accrue £940.20 over five years. If one includes Gift Aid, this figure would rise to £1,175.25.
Any contribution is gratefully received. With many small steps we can go a long way.
Giving at Rugby School
The Arnold Foundation
The Arnold Foundation enables Rugby School to offer fully funded places to talented children with the most to gain from a boarding education, and whose families could not otherwise consider a boarding school education.
