Choice in academic study

Students joining us in Year 9 benefit from a broad and balanced education in all the subjects we feel are important. This breadth and balance are continued at GCSE level with a wide range of subjects that deliver the best educational experience up to the age of 16.

At Sixth Form, Rugby School offers two rigorous and highly respected routes for advanced academic study: the International Baccalaureate Programme and A levels. The IB Diploma encourages curiosity and independence of thought while promoting deep subject-specific skills and knowledge. A levels are stand-alone, subject-based qualifications which allow for a high degree of specialisation in three chosen subjects.
