Aspiring Scholars' Day

Our Aspiring Scholars' Day takes place on Friday 18 September 2026 from 10:00-15:00.

Students will take part in an immersive curriculum session of their choosing (Art, Academic, Performing Arts, D&T or Computer Science) led by scholarship programme teachers.

After hearing from Head Master Gareth Parker-Jones, parents have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with senior staff, with the Scholarship application pathway being explained in depth by our Head of Academic later in the day.

Both parents and students will then have lunch in House with students before being taken on a House tour with our boarders.

Parents will also be invited to attend one of our Society sessions, whilst our friendly Admissions team will be on hand at the end of the day to answer any remaining questions.

The aim of the day is to give an insight into what life is like at Rugby Schoool, allow attendees to immerse themselves in one of their favourite subjects, and allow parents to understand the pathway to becoming a Rugby School Scholar.
