About the House

Griffin is the smallest boarding house in the School, yet it has the largest garden. Situated next to the Sports Centre, with the Music Department a short walk away, the House is well placed for both sport and the arts.

Three common rooms provide space for relaxation, each with television, DVD and kitchen facilities.

The garden is at the heart of House life. Throughout the Trinity Term the Griffin girls picnic on the lawn and host garden events for the rest of the School. Being next to the Sports Centre, the girls make full use of the fitness suite and swimming pool, while the nearby Music Department is used for rehearsals and regular instrumental practice. Girls who enjoy drama and music making are fully involved in the annual arts festival.
