During the summer break, Rugby School welcomed colleagues from across the Rugby School Group for the inaugural INSED day. Staff from Old Buckenham Hall, Bilton Grange, Beaudesert Park School and Aysgarth joined colleagues at Rugby School for a day of collaboration, professional development and shared learning.

The day began with a welcome from Rugby School's Head Master, Gareth Parker-Jones, before colleagues heard from keynote speaker Olli-Pekka Heinonen, former Minister of Education of Finland and current Director General of the International Baccalaureate. His address, 'Learning as if Life Depended on It', explored how schools can develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world.

Throughout the day, colleagues took part in collaborative sessions with peers from across the Group, learning more about each school's approach within their respective departments. The INSED programme has been designed to strengthen relationships across the Rugby School Group, encourage the sharing of expertise and ideas, and explore the future of education and learning.
