Congratulations to Katie Adams, Head of Spanish, who claimed the British Masters V45 100m title in Derby.

After a morning of teaching at Rugby School, Adams travelled to the championships where she progressed through both the heats and final to secure victory. The win caps an outstanding season in which she recorded a time of 12.6 seconds, making her the highest-ranked athlete in the UK in her age category.

The national final featured closely matched competition, but Adams produced another impressive performance to take the title in 12.8 seconds.

A remarkable achievement and a fitting reward for an exceptional season.
