Rugby School students compete in the British Schoolgirls’ Ski Races 2026

This week three of our students travelled to Flaine, France, for the British Schoolgirls’ Ski Races 2026, a long‑running schools’ competition on challenging alpine courses.

Eva, Flo and Sarah trained hard and raced in a very strong field, taking hard‑earned seconds off their second run and learning from each stage.

They stood out for the way they supported one another in cold and windy conditions. Over four days, all three showed resilience, organisation, empathy and a good sense of humour –  we are very proud of them.

The trio returned back back to school with the Best New School trophy!
