We are proud to have been named winner of the School House Partnership & Community Champion Award.

Commenting on the award, Dr Stephen Spurr said: “What stands out is that practically the whole School participates, including teachers. The partnerships operate in two directions, with students going out to primaries and primary school students coming into Rugby School.”

The judging recognised the impact of Rugby 360, our community engagement programme. The initiative takes its name from the circle of partnerships that connect the School with the wider community.

Each week, around 500 students take part in service activities across Rugby and the surrounding area. They support care homes, hospitals, charity shops, environmental organisations, animal care centres, food banks and youth clubs. Students also work with local primary schools, helping younger children with reading, Modern Languages, Science, Classics and Music.

Rugby 360 reflects our belief that education extends beyond the classroom. Through meaningful service and collaboration, students develop empathy, leadership and a strong sense of responsibility to others.
