The Sixth Form. IB or A Level?
If you are coming to Rugby School at 16 (Year 12) you will be joining the Sixth Form, what we call The Twenty (XX).

Academic choice
As a student in the Sixth Form at Rugby School you will be studying at an advanced level. You have the choice of taking A levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Academic enrichment
Academic study at Rugby School happens within the context of the wider school experience so, as well as lessons, you will be taking part in enrichment and career programmes, as well as Rugby 360 (our creativity, activity, service and volunteering programme) and be expected to join subject-specific societies. This is so that you come to understand the place of academic learning in the real world.
Personal tutors
Throughout your time at Rugby, you will have the support of a personal tutor who you will meet weekly.
Careers advice
We offer a bespoke Futures Advisory Service for all our Sixth Form students. This covers support with university applications (in the UK and abroad), employment, degree apprenticeships and GAP years, as well as an annual careers convention.
