A week-long programme of music, theatre, comedy, dance and a wide spectrum of creative workshops promises something for everyone.
Professionally run and backed by an A-list of supportive patrons including Dame Judi Dench, the festival turns the stunning grounds of Rugby School into a buzzing hub of creativity and culture during the last week of June.

The Festival on the Close 2023 will also bring hundreds of free creative workshops to local school groups. Giving young people these unique experiences to work with professional artists lies at the heart of the festival. It’s what makes us one of the most ambitious and exciting educational arts festivals in the country!
