We are delighted to invite Warwickshire Schools to an U14s male & female Sevens tournament on Saturday, 1st April 2023; 10am to 4pm.

The tournament will be played over two pitches, Old Bigside & Pontines, which are both on The Close, the birthplace of the game, at Rugby School.

Spectators are encouraged to come and enjoy a day of matches; there will be a festival feel on The Close with food and beverages on sale.

Fundraising

The day will be to raise awareness of two fantastic charities:

• The Injured Players Foundation which not only provides support to injured rugby players but also researches how to prevent injuries.
• Our own 1823 bursary fund which is in honour of Webb Ellis who was a bursary student. The bursary will offer means-tested places at Rugby School for boys or girls who show significant promise and aptitude for sport and a commitment to Rugby Football, with up to 100% of fees and essential extras available.
