Rugby School welcomes Laurie Bolger as Poet in Residence

This year, Rugby School welcomes Laurie Bolger as its latest Poet in Residence.

Laurie Bolger follows in the footsteps of Arji Manuelpillai, Anthony Anaxagorou, Cecilia Knapp, and Rachel Long.

Laurie is an acclaimed poet, stand-up, and presenter. She won the International Book & Pamphlet Competition and the Moth Prize for Poetry in 2024, and her debut collection Lady was published this year.

During her residency, Laurie will lead F Block enrichment sessions, provide one-to-one feedback to student writers, and work on a collaborative project with the creative writing group.
