Evensong at Rugby School is sung by the Rugby Choristers together with the Lay Clerks and Choral Scholars of Rugby School.
Lay Clerks are members of staff or freelance professional singers, whilst the Choral Scholars are students at Rugby School who may be music scholars and working towards a Choral Scholarship at university.
Opportunities exist for both post-graduate and gap year singers to join the communities at Rugby School and Bilton Grange to experience boarding school life, whilst singing as Lay Clerks in the choir. Freelance professional singers are also encouraged to apply to join our pool of adult choral singers. We welcome applications from interested candidates via the following links:
