Vienna exchange supports language skills

Eight Year 9 and 10 students made an exciting trip to Vienna during half term to support their German studies.

They experienced a week living with host families to truly immerse themselves in the language and improve their skills.

Trips included the Schönbrunn Zoo to see the giant pandas, a visit to the Spanish Riding School, ice skating at the Wiener Eistraum, the Ars Electronica Museum of the Future and a day trip to Linz, where the group sampled the famous Linzer Torte.

Eight German students travelled back with their UK peers to spend a week at Rugby.
