Exploring Creativity: IB Arts Students Showcase Thought-Provoking Work

Our IB Arts students have spent the past two years developing independent collections of work, exploring thought-provoking themes. Last week, we celebrated their creativity in an exhibition at the Lewis Gallery.

The themes explored included:

Migration – Examining movement across Ukraine and the country’s evolving identity through different historical lenses.

Windows – Exploring windows as structures, portals, and framing devices, using divided perspectives to deconstruct imagery.

Consumption – Investigating mass production and commercialisation, from endless grids of consumer goods to the transformation of iconic buildings into commodities.

Commemoration – Depicting a ruined building, once purposeful but now overtaken by time and nature.
