Jacob Bethell (W 17-22) to become England’s youngest international cricket captain

Rugbeian Jacob Bethell (W 17–22) is to become England’s youngest ever men’s cricket captain, leading the T20 side on their tour of Ireland this September.

An incredible achievement for Jacob, whose cricket journey began here at Rugby School before going on to represent England at Under-19 level and now stepping up to this historic role.

We’re immensely proud and can’t wait to cheer him on as he leads the team onto the pitch.
