Jessica’s book is published

14-year-old Jessica Lo has written and illustrated a children’s book that’s been published and now on sale.

Jessica was inspired to write Postman Panda, by her five-year-old sister who loved her big sister’s short stories – and pandas.

The 32-page book features a charming story with text in both English and Chinese and is a lesson in kindness.

Jessica said: “I wanted to write the book for my sister and all her friends. When it came to the illustration, I thought I’ll give it a go using graphics.

“I belong to the Creative Writing Club at Rugby and staff have been really encouraging  and supportive.”
