School nursing team are healthcare champions

The Rugby School SAN nursing team are offical champions of excellence in health education.

The School became one of the first to undertake the new Seacole Standard visit processes in association with the Health in Education Association (HIEDA), which is part of The Boarding Schools’ Association Group.

The dedicated team receieved the Seacole Standard certificate awarded to school health centres on achieving a high standard of treatment and care based on independent assessment by HIEDA. The official report said the ‘impressive’ team offered a clear multi-professional approach within the San, utilising equally the skills of the Doctors, nurses and counsellors to offer an excellent level of care in a school setting.
