Rugby School names Diamond as this year’s Poet Laureate.

As Poet Laureate, Diamond plays an important role in encouraging creative writing across the School. She is also Editor of ‘Rabbit Hole’, Rugby’s poetry anthology, where she selects and showcases students’ work from the academic year. Alongside this, she supports fellow students in developing their writing and works with the English Department to promote creative writing, as well as composing poems for School occasions.

We are also pleased to share that Diamond has been appointed Young Poet Laureate for Coventry 2025–2027. In this role, she will write poems to mark special events, perform her work, and inspire a wider interest in poetry across the city, working alongside the Coventry Laureate.
