Rugby School overcome the Barbarians in two historic games

In the culmination of a year of rugby celebrations, Rugby School boys and girls took on the Barbarians in their first-ever U18 matches.

Starting in the morning rain the girls played a close-fought game that saw them win out. Battling through the elements the game stayed tight throughout with the final score being 14-12 to the home side.

The weather cleared up and the boys played a fast high-scoring game against the Barbarians. After going down 21-0 it looked like a long way back for the School but with five minutes to go they crossed the line and won the game 38-33.
