Rugby School Vienna Exchange

During the February half-term, five Rugby School students participated in the German Exchange programme in Vienna.

They spent a week living with Viennese host families, attending lessons at our partner school, the Theresianische Akademie Wien, and immersing themselves in Austrian culture. The programme included excursions to the Spanish Riding School, Schönbrunn Palace, and a visit to the beautiful city of Salzburg.

Host families spoke highly of our students, praising how well they adapted to family life in Austria and expressing particular admiration for their enthusiasm and willingness to practise their German.

We are now delighted to welcome their exchange partners to Rugby, where they are staying in our boarding houses until their departure on Monday.
