Student selected for National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain

Sixth form Music Scholar, Isabel, has succesfully gained a place at the National Youth Brass band of Great Britain. She will be participating in concerts throughout the year and at major national venues.

Isabel’s first performance will be April 6, 2024 at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, with subsequent performances at the Liverpool Philharmonic hall and Royal Festival Hall in London.

The 17-year-old  joined Rugby School’s sixth form girls’ boarding house in September. As well as School music lessons, she also attends the Junior Department of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on Saturday mornings.
